Tomotely Plantation II
Live oaks at Tomotley Plantation, with the moss hanging heavy.
The moss here is thicker than almost anywhere else — not the thin grey strands you usually see, but dense curtains hanging in sheets off every limb, long enough to reach most of the way to the ground. The limbs arch out from the trunks on the left and run right across the frame, with fern growing green along the tops of them. Cut grass runs bright along the bottom. Light comes through from behind in patches.
Green and gold and grey. Layered deep, and it holds up printed large.
