A wave breaking on the Lowcountry coast with the sun just above the horizon.

The wind was blowing offshore, so as the crest goes over it is being torn backward into spray — you can see it coming off the top in a fine sheet rather than falling forward. Behind the break the water holds a dark green. In front of it the whitewater has had enough exposure to go soft. The sun sits under a heavy purple cloud band and lays a gold path straight down the middle.

One wave, one moment, a lot of weather. Good in a room where you want movement.
