The cloud had broken into small tight rows, and lit from underneath the whole thing went orange right across the top of the frame. Below, the tide had drawn back and left a channel running through the flats — and that channel is carrying the entire sky back at you. Dark rocks and rubble lie scattered across the sand on the left. The pier is a flat silhouette laid between the two halves.
