A starfish on the flats with the tide out and the sun going down.

The starfish sits closest to the camera, large in the frame, on sand ribbed into ridges that hold light along every edge. From it, a shallow channel winds back through the flat toward the middle distance, catching the sky and leading the eye to a bare driftwood tree standing alone with the sun just beside it. Cloud runs purple and orange above all of it.

Gold and violet, with a clear path through it front to back. Vertical, and it works large.
