Pink Lighthouse
The Morris Island Lighthouse under a pink sky, with a rainbow in the corner.
The whole frame has gone mauve. The cloud is heavy and low, and it has taken the pink out of the light and spread it everywhere — over the water and the sand as much as the sky. Then, up in the top left, there is a rainbow: partial and faint, a single band running down out of the cloud rather than an arch. The lighthouse stands small and red on the right with a rock groin running out toward it, and the surf comes up the beach in front.
Pink and grey, subtle rather than loud. Worth a second look for the corner.
