The Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park, straight on, at sunset.

This is the frame everyone comes to Waterfront Park for, and the parts worth getting right are the water and the symmetry. The exposure ran long enough to turn the flow off both tiers into smooth continuous sheets, and the basin below has gone glassy. Two palmettos stand exactly balanced left and right. The cloud above is pink and salmon over pale blue, with gold sitting on the harbor behind it.

It is younger than most people assume. The fountain and the park around it both opened in 1990, which makes it newer than a good deal of the city's ironwork.
