Blue Folly
Driftwood off Folly Beach at blue hour, with the water flat.
This is the bluest frame I have. A heavy stump sits in the shallows at the near left, worn and split open, and a bare tree stands further out on the right with its branches thrown up and open. Between and around them the exposure has flattened the water into a single pale sheet with no texture in it at all. The sky is deep blue with dark cloud streaked through it and only a small orange break at the horizon.
Blue on blue, with two dark shapes in it. It suits a cool room and a large size.
