The Pineapple Moon
A full moon over the Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park.
The moon is up and almost directly above the fountain, small and warm in a sky that has gone completely lavender. The fountain is running, and the exposure was long enough to turn the water coming off each tier into smooth continuous sheets rather than falling water, which makes the bronze read as though it has been wrapped in glass. Behind it the harbor is flat, with a band of marsh grass and the far shore beyond.
Lavender, bronze and white. Vertical, and it uses the height of the fountain properly.
