Tomotely Plantation I
Live oaks with the low sun coming through the moss.
The light is behind the trees and slightly to the left, which does something to Spanish moss you cannot get any other way. Instead of hanging grey, every strand lights up and goes orange, so the whole curtain under the limbs turns to fire while the trunks themselves stay dark. The limbs arch across the frame one behind another, receding. Bright green grass runs along the bottom.
Gold, black and green. The warmest print in the collection, and it wants a wall it can dominate.
