Silent Folly
One small driftwood snag standing in the water off Folly Beach, with everything else stripped out.
This is the most minimal frame in the collection. The exposure ran long enough that the sea lost its texture completely and went to a flat pale plane — no surf, no ripple, nothing. One dead-level horizon line, one small dark shape sitting on it. Above that, the sky is on fire, red and orange right across the top.
Two thirds silence, one third noise. It needs space around it, and it will hold a large wall on its own.
