The water is the thing here. A long exposure turned the outgoing wash into white streaks that radiate from the base of the trees straight toward the camera, so the whole bottom half of the frame pulls your eye back to the two trunks. They are stripped bare and branching like antlers, and they are not leaning — they are standing upright and taking it. Overhead the cloud is purple with a hard orange seam along the horizon.

Movement in the bottom half, weather in the top. It holds attention longer than most.
