A live oak trunk anchors the left of the frame and its limb arches right across the top, hung with moss, so you are looking through the tree rather than at the garden. Underneath and to the right the azaleas come forward hard — crimson closest to the camera, then magenta, then pink further back where the light drops away. A strip of green lawn runs through the middle. The foreground is bare leaf litter.
