Planes
A formation of C-17 transports over the Lowcountry, in black and white.
They are flying head-on toward the camera, stacked back through the frame in staggered rows, and the effect is more pattern than fly-past — dark, near-identical shapes climbing away up the picture. The sky behind them is flat overcast, which strips out everything except the silhouettes. Nothing else is in the frame. No ground, no horizon, no reference for how big they are.
Graphic and quiet. It reads as geometry first and aircraft second.
