The Pineapple in B&W
The Pineapple Fountain at night in fog, in black and white.
Fog does something for this fountain that clear air will not. The two lamps flanking it stop being lamps and become soft blooms in the mist, lighting the whole scene from both sides at once and leaving the bronze dark in the middle. The exposure ran long, so the water coming off each tier falls as smooth sheets. It is symmetrical down to the last detail, and the wet paving in front carries all of it back.
Black, white, and a great deal of grey between. The formal version of a landmark most people photograph in color.
