Historic Landing I
An avenue of live oaks, with the road running straight down the middle of it.
The limbs have grown across from both sides and met overhead, so the whole thing closes into a tunnel — and they are carrying their own growth, resurrection fern along the tops and Spanish moss hanging underneath in long grey lengths. The road is packed dirt and damp. Grass runs down each side. At the far end, a long way off, a white building sits in the gap where the canopy finally opens.
Green, grey, symmetrical. It has real depth, and it wants to be printed large.
